Our Guest teacher for Thursday OCT 16th and OCT 23rd will be : DAISY FAIRCLOUGH:
Daisy is an actor, performer clown, and aerial silks artist based between Avignon in France and London
Daisy had an extensive career in film and TV, after training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts from the age of 11, and with the the esteemed National Youth Theatres's REP company in her early 20's.
She was represented by Independent Talent Agency, one of the biggest agencies in the world, but left in 2021, to pursue a career in devised outdoor theatre, theatre making and clown. Mainly specialising in ensemble devised work and Physical Theatre
Daisy has just performed at the Edinburgh Festival after being awarded a grant towards developing her one woman show 'Unlearning Mastery' and she has recently finished 2 years of study at Ecole Jacques Lecoq, alongside a two year research and a development period funded by Jerwood and 101 Outdoor Arts.

Henry McGrath is an interdisciplinary artist whose work merges theatre, film, and movement. He trained at RADA on the MA Theatre Lab and quickly gained prominence as a principal actor with the internationally renowned Song of the Goat Theatre, touring worldwidefrom 2014 to 2018 and taking on the role of Hamlet in their celebrated production, Crazy God. Alongside his extensive performance background, McGrath has also worked on mainstream television and film projects, contributing to innovative collaborations with acclaimed performance groups across the globe.
Throughout his career, McGrath has forged notable creative partnerships, including one with Amit Lahav—Director of the multi-award-winning Gecko Theatre—to develop Dangerous Desires, a BBC2 programme exploring the life and work of artist Egon Schiele. He co-founded the multi-award-winning Animikii Theatre and later founded Solo School, an online educational platform that provides interdisciplinary artists with robust frameworks to support their individual creative practice and project-making approaches.
McGrath is also the Founder and Co-Director of Eden’s Cave, an experimental performance company producing theatre, film, and installation work, while offering land-based training from their base in the Forest of Dean.
We are pleased to announce that our guest teacher for July, will be MARIANNE SAMUELS:
Marianne is currently Head of Dialect at Stagebox, teaching professional young talent for stage and screen. She has taught voice and dialect at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Acting and Drama Studio London. She also held the position of voice and text support at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Her voice and dialect Credits include: Dear Evan Hanson (UK Tour, Nottingham Playhouse), The Count of Monte Cristo (TV series, Palomar), The Boys are Kissing (Theatre 503), The Children, Beekeeper of Aleppo, The Clothes They Stood Up In, Private Peaceful, Moonlight and Magnolias, Boar (Nottingham Playhouse), Newark Newark (Balloon Entertainment for UK Gold); A Christmas Carol (Royal Shakespeare Company); Journeys of Destiny (Derby Theatre); Acting Alone (Derby Theatre / Nottingham Playhouse); The Vagina Monologues (Newark Palace Theatre); Hundreds and Thousands(Buckle for Dust / English Touring Company) and Larkrise to Candleford (Finborough Theatre). CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE SLAM: TOBY WHARTON

Toby is a filmmaker from South London. He is passionate about making intimate, character driven stories with a social commentary.
Throughout his teenage years, Toby performed as an MC on the UK Garage music scene. He then went onto study acting at RADA and has performed extensively on stage and screen. He co-wrote and played the title role in the critically acclaimed play, FOG, published by Methuen Drama. His BFI Network short, HELD, enjoyed a successful festival run before premiering online with Director's Notes in 2024. The story, based on Toby’s own experience, explored the psychological effects of knife crime and the shame of victimhood. Toby was selected as a Film London Lodestar and shortlisted for a 1.4 Award in 2023, for his work on the film.
He is currently developing his debut feature, CARNATIONS, with Joi Productions and Sona Films. The film is inspired by his time teaching at Bronzefield women’s prison
LAWRENCE COLE
We are delighted to welcome LAWRENCE COLE as our guest teacher for the ADVANCED WORKSHOP on THURS MAY 15th
Lawrence is an actor, musician and comedian hailing from the midlands. Before he progressed more into acting, he had an extensive career with successful Nottingham Band 'DOG IS DEAD' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_Is_Dead playing all over Europe and at Glastonbury Festival in 2011
Most recently having co created hit Ed fringe show House of Life (SOHO theatre) which is currently touring London and then New York. His past credits include Supacell (Netflix) and Three Little Birds (ITV). On top of this he has also inherited the Spanish Throne and is looking forward to future relations between our two great nations.
